From the beginning, you will work directly with our project manager and his team, who are very passionate about their job.  Each and every member of our team and family have formal education and extensive training that puts them in a position to excel in the roles they have within APCS and to provide superior service to our clients. 

Loy Jones Senior Forester

obtained degree in natural resource management from Spokane College and forest management from Oregon State University.   Loy has 35+ years of experience in forestry, natural resource management, planning and the forest products business with experience in 26 countries on 5 continents.  His experience covers all aspects from planning a project to field implementation and comes from previous work experience with private companies; local, state and national governments; NGO’s and his own consulting firm in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.  His expertise includes:

  • Forest Planning
  • Landscape Spatial Planning;
  • Mensuration;
  • Environmental Impact Assessments ( including HCV);
  • Forest Engineering (roads and harvest systems);
  • Forest Management (unit, district, province levels);
  • Forest Manufacturing (field, primary, secondary);
  • Wildfire;
  • Forest Ecology;
  • Silviculture; and
  • Surface Mining.

For the last 12 years he focused on forest certification, verification of legality and sustainable forest management, with his last position serving as the President Director of PT SmartWood Indonesia and Manager of the Asia Pacific Region of Rainforest Alliance (RA).  He has experience managing FSC certified forest management and chain of custody (CoC), legality and carbon verification and validation, with clients in 26 countries within 5 continents and has served as a member/advisor to 6 FSC Regional Standard Working Groups.  He is a senior auditor for FSC forest management and chain of custody and ISO Lead Auditor qualified. Loy left Rainforest Alliance in 2010 to return to private practice and helped establish Asia Pacific Consulting Solutions.

Bertha Napitupulu President Director

studied economic development at Trisakti University in Jakarta, before she became a flight attendant for 6 years with Merpati Nusantara Airlines, Adam Air and Deraya Air.  She then obtained a communications degree at Undiknas University in Bali, before joining the APCS team in 2011 and has fast become a leader in project management, human resources and finance.

I Nyoman Widyantara General Affair

Widi has graduated in 2010 from University of Ganesha Education majoring in Faculty of Social dan Politic, Education of Geography Major. Widi had worked as Marketing Officer at Bank Mandiri for almost 2 years before join APCS as General Affair. Widi's hobby is fishing, sports, and travelling.

Ni Komang Meitriyanti Admin

Graduated in 2010 from University of Hindu Indonesia majoring in Faculty of Teaching and Education. She had worked as Administration at cruise ship crewmembers recruiting for MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) for almost 7 years before join APCS. She likes to read novels, watch movies and traveling.
